How to Make Great YouTube Videos

Are you using videos in your marketing yet? If not then you are definitely missing out. Were you aware that over three billion people are viewing videos each and every day! Want to get in on that action? I'll share with you how to make great YouTube videos in this article.

Creating videos is pretty similar to creating written content. If you are using search engine optimization (SEO) strategies for the written word then the same would apply for creating videos.

I recently took a course from a top video producer on YouTube who actually started by making his own for his business. Let's face it, the majority of people learn quicker when they are being shown what to do instead of it just being explained to them.

Now a lot of people shy away from creating videos because they don't want to be in front of the camera but with all the services and software available today that is no longer an issue. Some of the simplest and easiest are free too.

So where do you start! There is always the trusty old Google for keyword research and they do have their free tool to use for this. Locate keywords that your target audience is searching for and don't go below 3,000 views. The best range is actually between about 30,000 and 50,000 so going close to 100,000 is really pushing it.

There are several other sites that can help with this as well. Have you heard of Google Insights? This is another great site where you can locate what people are searching for but the real trick is to look for the keywords that are rising in the search results. Great place to find out what is up and coming.

Then of course you have YouTube trends and they have their own blog and Twitter account. It's always great to go after keywords that people are searching for right now correct? So if you can incorporate those keywords into your headlines and perhaps use like a comparison then it will definitely get some attention.

Another site that gets ignored quite a bit is Google Alerts. This is where you can actually put in the keywords you are searching for and see what other people are saying about this same topic. You can use these keywords for just content like blog posts or you can search for videos. If people are creating videos around those keywords and they are getting views then you need to jump in as well. Grab some of those views too.

Want to know how to do that? Shoot a video response to their video and the majority of the time it will get accepted because you aren't linking another video to it. YouTube sees their video as important and will help move it up in the search engines but your video will be right there with it.

Free Lead Capture Page - Great Way To Start a Video Marketing Business

If you are only getting started in video marketing, you may not know what a lead capture page is yet, but you might have seen a lot of of them. The goal of a lead capture page (as the name implies) is to get information from the individuals who visit your page. Also called a squeeze page, the it presents a form that has to be filled out by the visitor for him/her to get whatever it is that you're offering (free newsletter, free trial, etc). This short article will show you how you can build your own free lead capture page.

All the lead capture pages include some basic components. The very first is a persuasive headline to lure your target site visitors. Normally, this is followed by several types of bullet points that go into detail about what you're providing and how it benefits your online visitors. And the most important part of the lead capture page is the opt-in or autoresponder form. Once the visitor fills in their info on this form, you have captured them as a lead and can keep in contact with them through programmed emails.

How can you get the website visitor to fill out the form? The easiest way would be to offer them something valuable for free. This could be a free mini-course, a free e-book, a free newsletter... anything. When your visitor has opted in for anything you are offering free of charge, you can then start to build a relationship with them and eventually provide them what you're selling. The average visitor will look at an offer seven times before deciding to buy. Therefore, if you have this visitor in your lead list, you can constantly remind them about what you're offering.

Where can you create your own lead capture page for free? Blinkweb.com is one service that lets you build your own without charge. After joining, you'll be taken to a page where you can click on a tab that says "Create New Site". At the next page, you will choose the "salesletter style website", hit "next" and then choose a name for your site. The name, of course, should be relevant to what you are promoting and, if possible, keyword optimized. You're then taken to the page in which you can create your capture page. There is an explanatory guide which teaches you exactly how to do this step by step.

An effective lead capture page will grab your target market's interest and build trust from the start. This is accomplished with a headline that relates to the kinds of things your audience is in search of. You also want to ensure your lead capture page loads fast. Many visitors will only wait a matter of seconds before they decide to look at another website instead. Now that you have the basic do's and don'ts for a free squeeze page, you can begin creating your own now!
